Team Arrowstreet at the Thompson Island 4K Trail Run
Team Arrowstreet took to the trails as part of the Thompson Island 4K Trail Run to raise money to support the amazing work that’s happening on Thompson Island with kids from the Boston Public Schools. Each year, thousands of middle school students come to Thompson Island for free, hands-on learning and team building, not to mention life changing time spend…
Saturday Morning at Women’s Lunch Place
At the end of August, I joined a few members of our staff for Arrowstreet’s annual volunteer session at the Women’s Lunch Place, an amazing Back Bay facility designed by Arrowstreet for homeless women. It was an honor and humbling experience to volunteer in the kitchen – prepping, cooking, serving, and seeing the many faces and personalities of the women who utilize…
Planning for a CitySprouts Garden
We are currently working on the design the new building for the King Open and Cambridge Street Upper Schools, which are already involved with the CitySprouts school garden program. Giving Back with Building Impact
We recently teamed up with nonprofit, Building Impact, to host an in-office volunteering event assembling toiletry kits for two local charities. We held a month-long drive to collect a variety of toiletries including toothpaste, toothbrushes, first aid kits, lip balms, soaps, and shampoos. Our group of volunteers sorted all of the items and then packaged them into individual bags that…
City Hall: Naughty or Nice

We ambitiously chose to create a winter scene at City Hall Plaza. To respond to the theme of “Imagine Boston,” we envisioned an activated plaza with a row of shops, almond people,…

Team members took part in activities such as making blankets for the homeless while enjoying light refreshments. The event…

The Fenway High cafeteria is where they are continuously trying out new recipes and…
Volunteering with GADoS 2015
Over the weekend, a team of Arrowstreet staff members brought along family and friends to participate in the Green Apple Day of Service. Like last year, the group volunteered at an Arrowstreet-designed school building — this time we served at the Kipp Academy in Lynn, a building completed in 2012. We were able to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather…
