The University of Massachusetts Lowell commissioned Arrowstreet to renovate a former Doubletree Hotel into a multi-use facility containing both a student residence hall and a separate Inn and Conference Center. The top seven floors of this nine-story building were reserved for student use during the school year, providing housing for four hundred students. The bottom two stories now function as an Inn & Conference Center, facilitating the University’s connection to the community of Lowell. Separate entrances and a thoughtful circulation plan provide security and privacy for students and hotel guests alike.
