Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum (PMPM) recently added an incline elevator to take visitors from the heart of Provincetown directly to the base of the monument at the back of the property. The new configuration, with two arrival points, required a re-evaluation of their wayfinding program. Arrowstreet worked with PMPM to program and design a new, exterior sign system to identify each entrance and provide clear direction around the site. Inspired by signage found in historic New England parks, the system was designed to enhance and compliment the historic location and new incline elevator while adding a contemporary sensibility.
