Arrowstreet is designing a new, mixed-use neighborhood in Amityville, New York, located at the prominent intersection of Sunrise Highway and Route 110, and less than a mile from the LIRR. The walkable site is organized around a pedestrian-scaled boulevard which connects the buildings and three new public parks to the surrounding neighborhood. Retail at the base of the building along Route 110 provides convenient, pedestrian-accessible services to residents while also buffering the community from the street. The 500 apartment units in eight gambrel-style buildings are both spacious and light-filled.

Working with interior designer Alice Black Interiors, the interior design of this 500 unit project started during the planning phases with the creation of spacious living units that provide unique and varied options for potential tenants. The use of interesting interior materials and unique lighting creates a look and feel that fully compliments the vision and brand for the project.
