131 Dartmouth Lobby

Located at a critical meeting point between Boston’s Back Bay and South End neighborhoods, Arrowstreet modernized the lobby to this 11-story office building providing access to retail, below-grade parking, and offices above. The expansive three-story space is now anchored by a curving monumental stair in rich walnut wood, juxtaposing warm curvilinear copper hues against crisp white, prairie-style influenced architecture. Soft diffused lighting throughout, and new seating options, provide a welcoming space to gather, visit, and work.

Arrowstreet was the original architect of the building. The deeply textured brick façade, marked by punched windows, deep metal bays, and substantial setbacks on upper levels, references local design idioms of neighboring structures.
