Arrowstreet’s Scott Pollack, Jason King, Jordan Zimmerman, and Tyler Shannon will be participating in the ULI Living With Heat charrette.
The goal of this project is to spread awareness about extreme heat, engage with neighborhood stakeholders, and use ULI members’ expertise to propose solutions to mitigate against extreme heat and program spaces as amenities for residents during extreme heat events. The Living with Heat project is a follow up to ULI Boston’s Living with Water report that was released in 2014. The Project will provide design solutions for heat islands in the greater Boston area and is lead by the ULI Boston’s Climate Resiliency Committee. The findings from the charette will result in a report that will be released in early fall.
