Arrowstreet Senior Associate, Emily Grandstaff-Rice, FAIA, and Andy Rodrigue, Architect, will be participating in the National Education Association’s (NEA) annual event, Reading Across America by reading Iggy Peck, Architect to the Kindergarten and Second grade classes at the Douglas School. This program is the largest national celebration of reading and promotes year-round participation of younger students.
At the Douglas School, this year’s theme, Read Across the Board Walk, is a nod to the design of the new Douglas & Gates Elementary School which Andy has been an integral part of the design. The West Acton Boardwalk, which connects the current Douglas and Gates Schools, will continue to be a valuable link for the campus and surrounding community providing immersive and meandering views of the protected wetlands.
