We will be kicking off our annual Arrowstreet Earth Month on Monday, April 2nd. Each year we structure the month to feature staff presentations, tours, vendor fair, guest lectures, and friendly competitions focused on three aspects of building performance; sustainability, resilience, and wellness. It allows us to reflect and share what we’ve done in the past year, learn about new technologies, and set goals for the future of our work. This year’s kickoff event will feature the Center For Wildlife from Cape Neddick, ME. They will be bringing along a special guest so be sure to check in after Monday to find out who. Other highlights this year will be discussing our 2030 Commitment benchmarking from the past year. Check back in often to learn about all of the other exciting things going on.
Our office competition this year will be the Drawdown EcoChallenge. This international challenge is open to anyone who wants to compete. The purpose is to learn about and take action on the 100 most substantive solutions to climate change. Arrowstreet has formed two teams that will be going head to head. Of course we will also be seeing how we stack up against the hundreds of teams who have signed up from around the world as well. Each team will be committing to take specific actions from the list of 100 to complete within the month of April.
