Last week, we had the privilege of participating in Blackstone Valley Prep High School’s Shadow Day. Four amazing scholars came to our office (all the way from Cumberland, RI) and spent the entire day as honorary Arrowstreet employees. They met with our interior design group, tested out our virtual reality work, and had a roundtable discussion with our graphics team. Best of all, they saw a sneak preview of the designs for their new High School directly from the project architects and designers. The project team explained the design and construction process and how Arrowstreet’s graphics team is incorporating environmental/experience graphics and wayfinding into their school.
In the afternoon (on an unexpectedly gorgeous 70 degree day in February) they toured the Boston Public Library, experiencing first hand Arrowstreet’s wayfinding system, book mural, children’s library and teen center. We are so thankful for the opportunity to spend the day with these professional, enthusiastic, and passionate scholars.
