As a kickoff to the Labor Day weekend, Arrowstreet took a short trip over to East Boston to see the new development that has been risingĀ up across Boston Harbor. Associate, Jordan Zimmermann, took us on a tour in her neighborhood, complete with spectacular views and three new residential complexes recently completed or still in the construction phase. It was impressive to see the amount of multi-family housing going up in East Boston, all within a less than 2-mile walk along the waterfront. After the tour, we all enjoyed the beautiful evening with beers and conversation in the shipyard, discussing what we had seen and how it applies to our current work at Arrowstreet. These periodic City Tours are a great way for the team to take in the larger picture of what is going on around Boston, and see how it relates to what we do in the office in a wider context. For an in-depth discussion on the issues facing East Boston, join Jordan for a panel discussion hosted by ULI on September 11.
