The weather may be turning gray and wintry outside, but the inviting warmth of the White Elephant Village Inn is a perfect getaway. We’ve been working with Nantucket Island Resorts for over 15 years now on a number of their hospitality venues – the Wauwinet Inn, the White Elephant Hotel, the White Elephant Hotel Residences, and now the White Elephant Village Inn.
The most recent addition to the White Elephant, the Inn adds six luxury guest rooms and 14 suites to the Nantucket resort destination. Originally planned to be vacation condominiums, the shifting Nantucket hospitality market lead to reimagining the space as traditional hotel rooms.
We designed extensive renovations to the existing historic building, including improvements to the foundation, the addition of an elevator core, and structural revisions to support the hotel’s repositioning. The end result was a sophisticated vacation destination that reflects the natural beauty of Nantucket – check it out next time you visit the island.
