The New KIPP Academy Lynn project is being delivered using the “CM at Risk” procurement method. Consigli Construction Co. is the construction manager for the project, and we have been working with their team during construction to leverage the Building Information Model (BIM) that was originally used to design and document the project. In particular, Consigli’s team has been working to add a fourth dimension of time to the architectural model that we created. They have tied their construction schedule of the exterior building envelope to the model and generated this short animation showing the stages of the exterior envelope construction; this has been a great tool to communicate the sequencing of the exterior envelope and gain a better understanding of how the schedule unfolds.
